How can I become a judge or evaluator?

Only current or former skaters can become judges. You must have passed any 2 Junior Bronze skating tests or any 1 skating test at Senior Bronze or higher (not including interpretive tests) and be at least 16 years of age. Judging is a volunteer position. Judges receive mileage to attend competitions and test days and receive free food and accommodations. To become a judge, you must attend a one or two day clinic, complete an exam, trial judge or trial evaluate, and receive a positive report or supervised evaluation from another judge.
