Dress Rehearsal Night
Thursday March 23, 2017 4pm – 9:30pm will be our Dress Rehearsal & Professional Photographs. All skaters who are participating in the ice show must come to dress rehearsal on RINK A, in costume. A detailed Dress Rehearsal schedule will be posted in March, but generally skaters can expect to spend about 10 minutes rehearsing their show number and then going to pictures in costume.
As per Skate Canada rules, and liability insurance requirements, skaters in CanSkate must wear helmets whenever they are on the ice. If your skater wears a helmet during regular practice, they must wear a helmet for dress rehearsal and ice show. As professional photos are taken after they have skated with a helmet on, please make sure to bring a brush and any other hair supplies you may need to make sure your skater looks their best for pictures!
Please note that your child’s skating time for Dress Rehearsal may not be the same as their regular skating time. Please check the schedule carefully and have your skater in their costume and their skates 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time at RINK A. Skaters will be escorted from the hockey bench onto the ice when it is their turn to practice. Skaters may wear their sweaters/ coats during the practice line.
Once the practice line ends your skater will exit at the end of the dressing room corridor by the mini ice pad. Please meet your skater there and make your way to the lobby area outside of rink B where skaters will be met by the photographer for professional group and individual photos. Please bring your skater to the group photos even if you do not plan on ordering any photos for purchase. The group photos are so much nicer with everyone in attendance.
Please ask any one of our volunteers by stopping into the club office during our skating sessions, or let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay tuned to the website, Facebook, and look out for emails for more information in the coming weeks.
We are looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled show….
